Bean of the Gods
Bean of the Gods
This is an original one of a kind painting by Forrest Olson. Highly pigmented oil paints carefully spread over a 3" x 3" wood panel. The art includes the custom frame made by the artist using salvaged mahogany.
This painting was originally created as a part of a 366-day daily painting challenge where the artist started and finished a new painting every day for a full year. Since then, this coffee bean painting was selected to receive further painting and now has found itself finished, framed and ready for a home.
Contrary to the name, a coffee bean isn't actually a bean. Rather, it's the pit (or seed) that's found inside the coffee cherry. The bean is removed from the fruit as part of the harvest process. This painting was day 45 of 366 and landed in the middle of February which was themed "Real Foods"
